Hii, (replying from my other account lol) I think it’s just random. When I lived there in 2nd year I thought all the rooms had wooden flooring so was surprised that this one had carpet. I don’t think some of my neighbours on my floor had carpet (from what I can remember), so it’s just random

(Commenting from my bf’s account sorry 😅) but bills are all inclusive at this accom. Would advise finding a contract that’s all inclusive if u could cus most energy suppliers can be pricey/unpredictable atm

*sorry forgot to say it was all inclusive but had to pay an energy contribution £250+ for the year I believe

Hello, sorry I missed this! Hoping you have found something but if not your best bet is to rent privately. It would also be much cheaper than renting a student accommodation with 1/2 bedrooms. I suggest using Rightmove.com or maybe even Spareroom.com

Hii, honestly I used to walk it 😅🤷🏾‍♀️ I stayed in Upperton Road accom, but it’s very close to code. There used to be a bus that went to and fro but literally when I moved in in my second year they stopped it lol. But maybe it’s back idk. So walking is really the only option unless u get Uber, which I did sometimes when running late but not really ideal for everyday journeys due to cost lol. But yh if u don’t mind walking it’s calm. Plus quite a few UOL ppl stay in code or Upperton so u wouldn’t be alone in that regard. Hope this helps! x

Hii, erm I think they do have some uni owned studios but they won’t look like this. However any one can stay in these accommodations. I went to uni of lei, it’s just quite a walk to the uni.

Hii, I’m not too sure where you heard that!! Wouldn’t say leicester is anymore dangerous than anywhere else 😂 in my experience it’s been really safe, even late at night after motives etc. Anywhere can be dangerous really, I guess it’s just about being smart etc, trying your best to stay safe. xx
